I struggled with feeling safe, since I was child and I didn’t even know how lack of safety was hindering my life until I was an adult. The trauma of becoming a refugee left a deep imprint on my psyche. Being a highly sensitive and empathic child, I absorbed the fear that my parents felt at the time, as well as the fear of the collective field around me. Although my parents were able to protect our family by escaping from the country, my subconscious mind and my nervous system held on to the fear. In addition to the collective trauma of war, I experienced an intergenerational trauma within my family system. That added another layer of threat into my relational dynamics, preventing me from feeling like I was safe in relation with others. As I “moved on” with my life and I started to do my inner work, I realized that I was projecting my fears into the world and people around me. I couldn’t fully feel safe knowing that the shadow of humanity can manifest itself through violence and killing of other human beings. I believe that’s one of the reasons, I became deeply passionate about exploring my own shadows. I wanted to be “more aware of myself”, so I wouldn’t harm others. Lack of safety created layers of protection and energetic contractions within my body which was reflected in my life. It also created a deep sense of separation from others. It took time, devotion and having support from healing practitioners to become aware of my patterns and to feel courageous enough to unwind them. As I was healing, I felt the energy of my Soul landing within my body. I was able to exhale deeper. I allowed myself to relax. I felt more at peace with myself and my past. I was no longer chasing the desires of my ego. I became more authentic. Since I desire to be of service to people, I felt compelled to create a process that would make it easy for others to move through this healing journey.
